Hello Friend FMS105

Hello and happy Monday!

Today I am heading BACK to Calgary for a few days.
One of my assistant store managers is coming with me and I'm looking forward to getting to know her a little better!

Yesterday I was able to hit the stamp room for a couple of hours and created a few cards that you'll see throughout the week :)

Last week I ordered some MFT goodies and was happy when they arrived in about 24 hours! Yeah!
I LOVE sunflowers!!
My card is based on the Freshly Made Sketch #105

Merry Christmas SCS Sketch #455

Hello Happy Friday!

I'm so relieved it's almost the weekend but it doesn't mean I have a lot of relaxation coming my way :(
We still need to head back to Calgary tomorrow morning to clean our old house and do one last dump run.
Four hours of travel time there and back. Blah!
The end is finally in sight!
Then it will be onto a new hurdle....lol
One day at a time, right?

I was excited that I found some stampy time on my day off this week. Think I managed FOUR cards! I can't remember the last time I stamped for more than 30 minutes :)

This was a card I created for the SCS sketch #455 on Wednesday.
I think the week before we moved Chloe and I had gone to the craft stores to load up with what I could before coming to a city that doesn't have anything but a Michael's. I ended up picking up this sweet My Mind's Eye paper. I love non-traditional holiday colours! Great for a girl!

Stamps: Snow Flurry, Christmas CarolerPaper: White, Pink Pirouette, My Minds Eye dpInk: Memento blackAccessories: copics, sewing, mat pack and paper piercer, dimensionals

It's been so good getting back to my stampy time!!
My room is a little small and cramped but I'm making it work ;)
I decided to pull out one of my fave Verve stamp sets called Better With You.

Give Thanks With a Grateful Heart

Happy Monday :)

Last evening I was feeling the itch to get inky. So I did just that!

Creating a card for the following two challenges.
I used some Reverse Confetti Stamps for my quick CAS card.
I stamped the hearts from Forever Fall in Crumb Cake and fussy cut them out. Deciding that they needed a little something something....I added a bit of stitching down the center. The Whole Lotta Dots were stamped in Versamark onto the piece of Black cardstock.

Thanks for stopping by!

Celebrate HB2U - MFT sketch #142

Good Sunday morning!

Well at this point I'm half way through my six day stint. Working around the move has been a challenge. Days off are spent back in Calgary getting the old house cleaned up.
Still at little to do there so I'll be there a couple of times this coming week.
All this away time interferes with my stamping/crafting time....ugh.

Here is a card I created last week for the MFT sketch.
Stamps: Party Balloons, MFT Birthday Sentiments, Darling DotsPaper: Choc chip, Banana, Crumb CakeInk: White Craft, MFT KraftAccessories: MFT Party Balloons, MFT First Place Award Ribbon Die, Sewing, Twine, Dimensionals

Thankful for you today & always

Today I'm sharing a CAS card I created for the Freshly Made Sketch #104 with some Reverse Confetti Stamps.
A little masculine and rustic, don't you think?
Ok so there's a bow....lol
I stamped with Chocolate Chip ink and a Whole Lotta Dots for my background. Then with some Crumb Cake and Chocolate chip I stamped the acorns and sentiment from Forever Fall.
Quick and simple....perfect for one of my assistant managers!

In the meantime please have a little peek at a card I created using the MFT sketch from last week.
I used an older MFT set called IB Birds.

Count Your Rainbows - Reverse Confetti

Hello :)
Well we are all moved into our house in Lethbridge and now the work begins settling in.
I really hope to be stamping tomorrow!!

Here is a bookmark I made about a month ago as I prepared for the Reverse Confetti sneak peeks.
I'd forgotten about it which worked out well because now I have something to share :)
The fabulous sentiment comes from the Count Your Rainbows stamp set.

Thanks for stopping by!
I hope to be posting a lot more regularly very soon!

So Glad We're Friends - SSSC193

Hello :)

Are you ready for another WONDERFUL sketch?!
This week there is a fabulous Sweet Sunday Sketch for you. Check it out!
I really wanted to make a fairly simple card as I had started to pack my supplies while creating this card a few weeks ago.
The MFT dies were perfect for it!
I believe the sentiment comes from the Pretty Poppies stamp set.

It's a Funny Thing About Life...

A week or so ago I created the card above for the Cas(E) This Sketch #43 and also the Dynamic Duos Challenge #68 of Perfect Plum and your choice of colour.

For some reason the Perfect Plum cardstock didn't photograph really well. Looks washed out. Sorry!
Stamp set is from MFT's Vertical Greetings II.
The embossing folder is from Cuttlebug and called Modern Wallpaper.

Thanks for stopping by!

Happy Birthday - Freshly Made Sketch #102

This was one of the last cards I created before all of my stamping supplies were packed away for the move this week :(

I can't believe I'm not going to get inky for two weeks! ack! The only time that happens is when I'm on vacation....lol....I'm busy and don't miss it then but now....it's a different story....lol

I did pack my copics and brought them with me as I don't trust those movers ;)

Here was the sketch:
I chose to make it a square card to accommodate the large MFT WTG Bunches of Birthday Wishes. That was the first time I'd inked it up. Cleaning and packing I found it! So excited....lol
By the time I started the card I had already packed up a lot of my stuff, including ribbon, but I did have twine in a bin still...good thing!

I will only have a couple of cards to share over the next two weeks but I do hope you'll pop in when you can.

Have a great day!

Reverse Confetti - Release Blog Hop

We’ve been counting down the days, and it’s finally here—a new release from REVERSE CONFETTI!  It’s the 8th of the month (Reverse Confetti blog hop day) and this time we are looking forward to those fall days and the spooky treats that come our way for Halloween.  Come and hop along with the Confetti Crew as we share some creative ideas using September’s five new trendy stamp sets.  Along with the Confetti Crew (our fabulous design team), we’ve also invited some extra friends to join in on the action!

The hop started over on the Reverse Confetti blog, and you should have made it here from Amy’s blog. It would be worth your while to start at the beginning of the hop, so you don’t miss a thing. We have tons of
inspiration for you to see using all the new Reverse Confetti stamp sets!

My card today features the fabulous new set called Forever Fall.
Once again I've gone CAS but with a little itty bit of designer paper.
The acrons were inked up with chocolate chip and crumb cake and fussy cut.
I stamped the Happy Fall sentiment in Crumb Cake, Chocolate Chip and Pumpkin Pie. A wee bit of sewing finishes off the card.
Here's the full set:

I hope you’ve enjoyed hopping with us today. Be sure and hop with us on the 8th of EVERY MONTH for more REVERSE CONFETTI inspiration! Now it’s time to hop on over to Sarah’s blog. If you get lost along the way, you can find the hop order and list of all the participating designers over on the Reverse Confetti blog.
