Smile :)

Happy Saturday!
Today all the My Time Made Easy girls will be sharing cards made with the new sets that are now available....Can you believe it is now May 1st? Wow! This year is whipping by! I'm so looking forward to summer!
I wanted to make a CAS card that was more masculine. This new October Afternoon DP is perfect for it!
The sentiment comes from the Sensational Sentiments set.
I stamped it in Real Red on the kraft coloured couture cardstock.
I can't wait to get home from work today and get busy making more cards and maybe even a couple of 3D projects using the newest templates! Be sure to stop by tomorrow for more goodies!
BUT before you go....visit the girls!

You are fabulous!

Today I have another My Time Made Easy sneak peek to share with you!
Sensational Stems and Sensational Sentiments are a MUST have in my opinion ;)
I've paired these stamps up with some fun October Afternoon Fly a Kite. The images were stamped in Old Olive and Real Red. The flower centers were white pearls but I coloured them with a Y21 Copic. Before removing the image from the nestie I sponged on some Soft Sky ink.
Stamps: Sensational Stems, Sensational Sentiments; Cardstock: Couture Kraft, So Saffron, Cream, OA Fly a Kite DP; Inks: Old Olive, Real Red, Soft Sky; Accessories: Nesties, Ribbon, Border Punch, Pearls, Copics, Dimensionals
Be sure to visit the girls for more creative ideas!~

Hi, it's me...and Sending You Sunshine

Good Afternoon!
I wanted to share a couple of challenge cards that I made.
This first one uses the SCS sketch from yesterday and the adorable Heart Stripes girl from MFT.
This second one was made for today's WT challenge of chipboard crazy. I used a plain mini scroll that I left unfinished to match the kraft cardstock from Couture.
The stamps are of some sneak peeks from My Time Made Easy.
Here I stamped the Sending You Sunshine in Summer Sun from the Sensational Sentiments. The little flowers and stripe are from Paper Pattern Pieces. I stamped those in White craft ink.
Thanks for stopping by this afternoon! Have a wonderful Thursday!

Let's Do Coffee!

Ok I admit I'm not much of a coffee drinker. I mean I have my one and occasionally two cups in the morning at home(if we have flavoured creamer). I rarely have any after that. The girls at work always do a Tim Horton's run each morning around 10 am...lol and they always ask but I always say, No thank you :)
That didn't stop me from wanting this cute new Let's Do Coffee set from Taylored Expressions though...ha!
My order arrived on Tuesday and I wasn't home for more than 10 minutes when I decided I HAD to go make something using the new goodies! Originally I had intended on using a card kit that I purchased but decided to go with some fun October Afternoon Fly a Kite DP.
I tried the hair colouring technique that I learned from Sherrie at the copics class. I think I'm starting to get the highlighting thing going! Yeah! Remember practice ;)
The layout comes from Mercy's sketch this week.
Here is a shot of the inside:
Stamps: Let's Do Coffee; Cardstock: Choc Chip, Cameo Coral, Choice Buttercream, Fly a Kite DP; Inks: Memento Black; Accessories: Copics, Nesties, Wavy Border Punch, Ribbon, Circle Punches, White Gel Pen, Dimensionals

MTME sneak peeks begin!

Hello!
I'm so excited that the My Time Made Easy Sneak Peeks are beginning today! Lauren has so many wonderful sets and templates coming!!
My first little 4 x 4 card uses a new set called Lunch Box Love Notes. This set is huge! It has 25 images including some very sweet sentiments.
I thought it would be cute to include this in Chloe's lunch bag on a day when she has a big exam or something ;)
My next little project is a lunch bag tag!
How fun would this be to attach to your child's lunch kit?
Here I have used the Lunch Box Love Notes Additions along with the original set.
I'm really looking forward to seeing what the MTME girls have made!
Be sure to stop by their blogs:
Thanks for stopping by today~!

Hello Mary and Friends

Hello!
This is another stamp that I have had sitting on my table since CHA in January. I know it's a shame! It's a really cute set too! I coloured her hair like I learned from Sherrie a couple of weeks ago at the copics class. I think it turned out pretty good! It's fun to play and practice!
Lately I have noticed a lot of people doing this sort of ribbon treatment....so I had to try! LOL!
I like the effect but it's a little extra work ha!
Stamps: Mary and Friends from WoodwareUSA; Cardstock: Kraft, Choc chip, So saffron, White, DP; Inks: Memento black; Accessories: Copics, Nesties, Ribbon, Paper piercer, Border Punch, Dimensionals
Thanks for stopping by today! Please come back tomorrow when I will share my first MTME sneak peek with you!!
Have a WONDERFUL day!

Happy Birthday

Sorry I've been MIA this weekend but I've had a lot going on and have not been in the mood to stamp. I'm exhausted....
I made a quick card for a friend using Taylor's Sketch #110 and a Stampendous set from Stampers Dream called Cupcake Numbers. The pattern paper is from My Mind's Eye Jack and Jill.
Thanks for stopping by today! I hope you've had a relaxing weekend!
Come back tomorrow for another Stamper's Dream card.

My Time...

It was so nice to have yesterday off! Although I didn't get as much stamping done as I would have liked, I did manage to get two completed :)
Both cards below use the SCS sketch from Wednesday and the Ways To Use It Challenge of Mixing Patterns. I ♥ mixing patterns!
My first card uses the set All A Flutter Sentiments from My Time Made Easy. Last week before leaving for Calgary my package from Lauren arrived and boy did she spoil me rotten!!! Wait until you see the upcoming release! I'm so excited to be joining in this month! Stay tuned....next week ;)
Ok back to my card! I used some pretty American Crafts designer paper and a Martha butterfly punch to finish it off.
My second card uses an Inkadinkado stamp set called Birthday Cupcakes. I stopped in to a local scrapbooking store called Scrap-a-Lot and picked up some of the fun AC Dear Lizzy embellishments. I don't know why I didn't pick them up when I got the paper a couple of weeks ago. I don't often use these sort of embellishments but they are FUN!
Thanks for stopping by today! I hope to have some energy after working today to stamp this evening :)
Have a WONDERFUL Friday!

Hello

Whew yesterday was a long 15 hour work day....it sucked. Thankfully I don't have to do that as often anymore but sometimes it's necessary. Since I didn't get home until after 10 pm I had no time or energy for that matter to stamp.
I made this card using Mercy's sketch the other day. It's a pretty simple card that took no time to make! Love those kind!
The stamp comes from AmyR's Big Words which is available at All That Scraps.
I'm off today! Yippee! Not sure what my plans are exactly but I do have a list of things I'd LIKE to get done! Stamping is one of them!
Have a wonderful day!

Swinging by to say Hi!

Sunday afternoon I sat down and stamped another MFT image. These PI girls are really so very sweet! See that pretty bow? I made it with my Bow Easy from Sharon's Store. LOVE that tool!
This sketch comes from Karen's Sweet Sunday Sketch #65...I think :)
Thanks for stopping by today! The weather has been BEAUTIFUL here~! Therefore I haven't spent anytime in the basement stamping...I've been outside! Love it!
Have a wonderful day!

Hedgie Mail

Good Morning!
I couldn't wait to get home and colour something using a bit of knowledge I gained from Sherrie! I understand the basics of Copics a little better now.
Here I used Y20, Y21, Y23 and a bit of Y24 to colour the flower. Using colours in the same family helps blend everything nicely. I used to only use two(or three if I was feeling brave) but Sherrie explained how to get shading down ;)
I have a way to go on the colouring but I think it's a learning process....practice practice practice!
This image comes from Stampers Dream and is from the Penny Black Clear Stamp line. Wonderful Day has so many adorable images in the set!
Thanks for stopping by today! Have a GREAT Monday!

Birthday Celebrations

Happy Sunday!
I hope you all had a fabulous weekend!
Our weekend away was wonderful! Great weather, great friends and great memories!
Yesterday I attended a copic class by Sherrie and it was fun! She's so sweet and ohhhhhh so tall! ha!
I haven't stamped in almost a week and it was nice to get back at it this afternoon.
This card below was made for the Featured Stamper on SCS.
I chose to case Dara's card here.
This is a Stampin' Up! only card :)
Thanks for stopping by today! Have a great evening!

Hello!

Just another quick card made with Scarlett the Teacup Girl from Stamping Bella.
I think this designer paper was from Valentine's Day...lol...but it works for anything, I say ;)
The sentiment comes from AmyR's new Big Words which is available at All That Scraps.
Stamps: Scarlett the Teacup Girl, AmyR's Big Words; Cardstock: Island Prism Mist, Lemon Tart, White, DP; Inks: Memento Black; Accessories: Copics, Rhinestones, Prima, Silver Brad, Ribbon, Sakura Glaze Pen, Dimensionals

Happy Mother's Day TESC108

Monday I was able to do a lot of stamping and I'm getting ahead finally!
Both my mom and grandmother live far away so I thought I'd better get busy with my Mother's Day cards. The image and sentiment come from Taylored Expressions Fresh Flowers. I also used Taylor's TESC108 sketch for the layout. I've been seeing these blossom flowers all over the flippin' place and it was about time I really tried one! They are easy!
Stamps: Fresh Flowers; Cardstock: Kraft, Choc Chip, Choice Buttercream, MME dp; Inks: Memento Black; Accessories: Copics, Nesties, Stickles, Scallop Punch, Brad, Dimensionals
Thanks for stopping by today!

Chloe the Coffee Mug Girl

Monday my Stamping Bella order finally arrived....that was a long wait.
I was so excited to ink up this adorable image!
I was inspired to use the yellow and teal from some ribbon(wide ric rac) I ordered from Sharon. It arrived at the end of last week too! If you haven't been to Sharon's blog and her Stamp Simply Ribbon Store you MUST go! You can't tell by the picture but I used a Sakura Glaze Pen on the heart. It's a lot like using Crystal Effects but dries much faster...bonus!
Stamps: Chloe the Coffee Mug Girl; Cardstock: White, Tempting Turq, DSP; Inks: Memento Black; Accessories: Copics, Nesties, Ric Rac Ribbon, Misc Tassle Ribbon, Candy White Dots, Sakura Glaze Pen, Dimensionals
Thanks for stopping by today! I hope you have a WONDERFUL day!

We all grow better...

in sunshine and love♥...
Here is another card I made using a sketch from Sketches to Go! This time I got Chloe to bring the magazine upstairs so I could let you know which one. Well it's on page 50. I started by CASING the card by Maile...loved her row of buttons!
I decided to use this cute Jack and Jill DP from MME again ;) I had some yellow and brown(never used yet) buttons on my shelf and really wanted to use those. That's where the colour scheme came from. When I decided to use this JustRite sentiment from Joyful Hearts and Borders I knew I REALLY wanted to try making a sun like one of my stamping idols, Jody, had done here. Funny thing was when I went to link up, I realized that I had used brown and yellow like her ;) Love that! I only wish I could sew like she does :)
Stamps: Joyful Hearts & Borders; Cardstock: Yellow, Brown, White and MME dp; Inks: Memento Black; Accessories: Copics, Nesties, Border punch, Buttons, Thread, Dimensionals
Thanks for stopping by today! I hope you have a FANTASTIC week!

Happy Birthday

This morning I found a copy of Sketches to Go at Mike's! I couldn't wait to sit down and create something using one of the sketches! I can't recall which one I used and I'm too lazy to head back down to get the magazine....lol...but know the layout came from that ;)
I pulled out an Inkadinkado stamp set called Birthday Fun. Brian bought it for me a long time ago and it's never seen ink....bad eh?
I thought the fun polka dotted paper from MME went really well with it too!
Stamps: Birthday Fun; Cardstock: Kraft, Prism, MME dp; Inks: Memento Black; Accessories: Copics, Circle punches, Mat pack and Paper piercer, Ric Rac Ribbon, Border Punch, Dimensionals
Thanks for stopping by today! Have a wonderful Sunday!

Friends Brighten Your Day

It's the weekend and with the weather the way it is...I'm happy that I'm working...haha!
Yesterday morning we woke up to snow...blah! Most of it was gone by the afternoon but the winds continue....
Today I'd like to share a card I made on Thursday for the Ways To Use It Challenge- Angled Interest and also for the MFT sketch that Cindy posted in the forum.
I've used the super cute and adorable Umbrella Girl!
I made a mistake when I stuck the girl on...she's too low and covers part of the sentiment :(
Stamps: Umbrella Girl, Rain or Shine; Cardstock: Kraft, So Saffron, Real Red, Cream, MME dp; Inks: Memento Black; Accessories: Copics, Nesties, Border Punch, White Candy Dots, Ribbon, Dimensionals
Thanks for stopping by today! Hope you have a wonderful weekend!

Take Care of Yourself

I promise to stop using this My Mind's Eye dp real soon....I am almost out...lol
Every time I buy new papers I use them for a bit and then MORE come out and they get pushed to the back of the drawers. Well I have decided that when I buy things, I need to use them and not hoard them. I can't promise that I won't buy MORE paper though ;)
Yesterday's Ways To Use it Challenge was Angled Interest.
Pretty simple card.
Stamps: Upsy Daisy; Cardstock: White, Real Red, MME dp; Inks: So Saffron, Black; Accessories: Nesties, Ribbon, Modern Label punch, Martha butterfly punch, Stickles, Dimensionals
Thanks for stopping by today!

It'll Be Okay SC275

Last night after dinner I sat down to create something for the Sketch Challenge 275. I didn't have much time so I grabbed this cute Umbrella Girl that I got at Stampers Dream. She was already stamped and coloured. That made making this card super easy!
I used some fun My Mind's Eye DP too!
Stamps: Umbrella Girl; Cardstock: Real Red, So Saffron, Kraft, Cream, MME dp; Inks: Memento Black; Accessories: Copics, Nesties, Mat pack and Paper piercer, Dimensionals
Thanks for stopping by today! Have a GREAT Thursday!
