Jen and Taylor's Sketches

Wow, where has this day gone?! I finished cleaning Chloe's room then had to go get dog food at the vet and then grocery shop. Not a whole lot of time left to stamp today....bummer!
I did manage to get one card done for Jen's sketch on her blog i{heart}2stamp. I know the girls there challenged themselves to using Bellas or Stamping Bella images so I thought I'd do the same. I am not sure I've ever inked this image up....lol
I don't own any Bella sentiments but I do have a great MFT set Say Charge....used a sentiment from that one ;)
Stamps: Retailfellabella and MFT Say Charge ; Cardstock: Papertrey Aqua Mist and Berry Sorbet, WW and My Minds Eye DP; Inks: Adirondack Black; Accessories: Copic Markers, Primas and Clear Gems, Key Tag Punch and Dimensionals
Last night I had some free time to finish up a card I started in the morning. This one is for Taylor's cupcake sketch #18. I even challenged myself to use a colour I'm not very fond of...Taken With Teal....ewwwww
Stamps: CC Designs It's My Birthday; Cardstock: Taken With Teal, Pumpkin Pie, WW and Junkitz DP; Inks: Adirondack Black; Accessories: Circle and Rectangle Nesties, Copic Markers, Cotton Candy Stickles, Yellow Stickles, Pumpkin and Turq Ribbon, Dimensionals
Thanks for stopping by today!

Free to good home....

8 almost 9 year old girl....lol
OK so I'm joking but seriously I about LOST it this morning....
All week I've been wanting to tackle, yes tackle, that room of hers. Now I don't normally clean it for her but it seems every few months I NEED to....
I actually ran out of black garbage bags and had to get some from my neighbour *Hi Lisa*...
I think what threw me over the edge was finding FOOD stuffed under her bed...GROSS~!
I told her she was grounded until the end of the school year. Ok so that may be a little long since we still have 4 weeks...rofl....but it'll go until I think she has suffered enough ;)
This time she amazingly didn't put up a fuss with my punishment and I kept hearing, "Sorry Mom"
Onto some good news....
All That Scraps and CC Designs are releasing some new sets this week!! I unfortunately did not get mine in the mail yet...darn border and customs!
If you hop on over to the ATS blog you can see todays sneak peek.
I'm hoping to get some stamping time in later today!

LSC card, Beate Sketch and group pic from last night

Good Friday Afternoon!
Yah...it's the weekend! I need to get out and mow the backyard but I just can't seem to pull myself off the couch....
This morning before heading to the school I had time to work on quite a few cards!! It was a very productive morning...gotta love those!
This trio of cards is for todays Limited Supply Challenge on SCS. You were to make three cards using the same stamps, cardstock and inks. You were also allowed some hardware and ribbon. When stamping them, I didn't want to add a sentiment and thought I'd add one as I needed to.
Stamps: Heartfelt Thanks; Cardstock: Choc Chip, Groovy Guava, WW and Afternoon DP; Inks: Soft Sky, Wild Wasabi, Groovy Guava; Accessories: Rectangle Nesties, Choc Chip Twill, Ribbon Slider from HPH, Slit Punch, Dimensionals
Here is a closer look at the three cards.

After making the three cards for this mornings Limited Supplies Challenge I had a little time to work on Beate's WSC50. I'm always in need of bday cards and this layout worked well for my favourite cupcakes! I'm in love with these Hero Arts Cupcakes....lol
Stamps: Hero Arts Cupcakes; Cardstock: Cool Caribbean, Choc Chip, WW and MM Animal Crackers DP; Inks: Adirondack Ink; Accessories: Copic Markers, Choc Chip Satin Ribbon, Rectangle Nesties, Slit Punch, Dimensionals, Stardust Gel Pen
Lastly, I just wanted to show you a group shot of the girls cards last night...what a hoot to see the different expressions with the eyes!
Thanks for stopping by today!

Hey Chicky ATS sketch

Amy from Prairie Paper and Ink has given the ATS design team a sketch to work on for today. I wanted to keep this fairly simple and flat so I could pop it in the mail this weekend. I knew I wanted to use the fun flock that I had been collecting dust on the shelf but the Lemonade was a little bright. So I coloured the chick with a darker yellow copic marker first. That seemed to tone it down a little.
We'd love for you to join us and play along. You will be able to check out the sketch on the ATS Blog.
Stamps: Hey Chicky; Cardstock: Cool Caribbean, Yo Yo Yellow, WW and White Out Collection DP; Inks: Adirondack Black; Accessories: Copic Markers, 2 way glue pen and Lemonade Fun Flock, 1" and 1 1/4" circle punch, Key Tag Punch, Scallop Oval Punch, Dimensionals and Paper Piercer
Thanks for stopping by! I'll be back a little later with a few other cards....I hope ;)

Sketch Challenge Card and CC Designs DT Challenge Card

Good Wednesday Morning!
I'm going to quickly share a couple of cards with you then I MUST get my cards finished for my workshop with the girls. I still have one more card to create....thinking I may do the Carousel Notes...
This first card is for todays Sketch Challenge on SCS. I have no idea why the DP is so pink in the picture...lol...but it's not like that IRL.
Stamps: Tart & Tangy; Cardstock: Real Red, WW and Summer Picnic DP; Inks: Real Red, Close to Cocoa, Old Olive; Accessories: Photo Corner Punch, Scallop Punch, 1 3/8" Circle Punch, Dimensionals, Paper Piercer
Christine from All That Scraps issued the DT a challenge to make something with 3 different ribbons on it. I'm not sure I have used this cat from It's My Birthday before and thought he'd be perfect for today! I coloured him with my Copic Markers from ATS. Christine has a set that closely matches the SU! colours which is fabulous!!
Stamps: CC Designs It's My Birthday; Cardstock: Bashful Blue, Certainly Celery, WW and SEI DP; Inks: Adirondack Black; Accessories: Copic Markers, Rectangle Nesties, Misc Gingham Ribbon, Dimensionals, Stardust pen

A Colour Challenge Card and a couple others....

Good Tuesday Morning!
Sorry to post and run but I've got some school volunteer stuff to do today. There are 180 bedding plants and three bags of peatmoss in my Jeep that need to get delivered to the school....lol
This first card is for todays CC on SCS. It's Choc Chip, Sage Shadow and Very Vanilla. I need a Father's Day card for my girls this week and I was thinking these colours would work nicely. What do you think? Hope they like it!
Wanted to use up some of the watercoloured images I did a few nights ago. These Magnolia stamps are so cute....I left a sentiment off for now and can add something when I need to.
Just a little baby card I threw together a few weeks ago. Not sure if I shared it on here or not. If I did, oh well....you get another looksie...haha!
Thanks for stopping by!
If you have any questions...please shoot me an email and I'll try my best to answer them.

Featured Stamper Peanutbee

Good Sunday Afternoon!
It's a gloomy day here which is fine because I spent the morning making perogies. I did have a chance to quickly work on the Featured Stamper card for SCS while my dough rested for a couple of hours.
Today it is Denise aka Peanutbee on SCS. Oh my word, she has a FABULOUS gallery!
I decided to CASE this card of hers HERE.
Denise has used a CC Designs stamp from All That Scraps and it got me to thinking I should do the same ;)
I am going to lay down and finish watching the Indy500 and then the Nascar Race tonight....I'm exhausted today!
Thanks for stopping by!

SFYTT cards

Happy Saturday!
Wow, it's been a busy one so far! First thing this morning, Chloe and I headed out to the Greenhouse to order and pay for some plants for the Kindergarten and Grades 1/2 kids to plant next week at school. Then we hit Walmart for some groceries. Home to make cabbage rolls for a luncheon we are having on Monday. Then while those cooked in the oven, I mowed the lawn. After that we headed to the post office and mailed a bunch of RAKS....$23 later...haha!
Then I stamped....I think all my creative juices went away today....sorry....
I ALMOST didn't post any of these :(
These cards were inspired by Jen's sketch on her blog i{heart}2stamp. Check it out if you get a chance. She has some fabulous sketches there!
Stamps: Hero Arts Cupcake; Cardstock All PTI; Inks: Versafine Black; Accessories: Copic Markers, Heidi Swapp Jewels, May Arts Ribbon, Corner Rounder Punch, Circle Nesties, Dimensionals
I wanted to make more of a boyish card....think this one will work....it's kind of funky too. I think I have used Big Pieces maybe ONCE. Hope it retires ;)
Stamps: Big Pieces, Smarty Pants; Cardstock: Brilliant Blue, Pumpkin Pie, Garden Green, WW and East Coast Prep DP; Inks: Same as CS; Accessories: Photo Corner Punch, 1" and 1 1/4" circle punches, Nestabilities, 1/2" circle punch, Dimensionals, Paper Piercer
I started working on this card with Jen's sketch in mind but then I realized the Tart & Tangy images were too big to get three on here....so I stopped and this is the end result...lol
Stamps: Tart & Tangy, Smarty Pants; Cardstock: Real Red, Bashful Blue, WW and Summer Picnic DP; Inks: Real Red, Bashful Blue, Old Olive, Close to Cocoa; Accessories: Corner Rounder Punch, 5/8" Real Red Ribbon, 1 1/4" circle punch, Nestabilities, Dimensionals

Limited Supplies

Good Friday Afternoon!
Wow it's been a busy day! This morning I was able to do a couple quick cards for the Limited Supply Challenge on SCS before leaving to do some volunteer stuff at the school. I also combined the cards with another challenge as well. This first one is using Beate's Weekend Sketch. I pulled out my favourite Boatloads of Love set but this time I didn't watercolour it....I used my Copic Markers. The LSC on SCS was to use a stamp in place of hardware....so I used the clouds/puffs of smoke as my brads....can you picture cloud brads? LOL...
Stamps: Boatloads of Love; Cardstock: Bashful Blue, WW and Cutie Pie DP; Inks: Adirondack Black; Accessories: Copic Markers, Circle Nesties, CB embossing folder, Dimensionals
This card covers both the Limited Supply challenge and the MFT sketch 31 on SCS. I used the Ms. Sheriff stars in place of some star brads.
Stamps: Ride 'em Cowgirl; Cardstock: Close to Cocoa, Pretty in Pink, WW and Berry Bliss DP; Inks: Adirondack Espresso; Accessories: Copic Markers, Small and Lg Oval Punches, Dimensionals
Thanks for stopping by today!
I'm sure tired and really just want to nap but soon it will be dinner, sleep will have to wait ;)

A great mix today...

Good Thursday Afternoon!
It's STILL raining here....now I'm getting bummed....this weather makes me so sleepy.
Before heading off to the school this morning to mark math and spelling tests I had a chance to work on the SCS Ways To Use it Challenge.
Masculine cards was the theme. Hope I pulled it off okay with this one ;)
Stamps: A Light Unto My Path and Sanded Background; Cardstock: Blue Bayou, Soft Sky, Choc Chip and Vellum CS; Inks: Choc Chip; Accessories: Copper Brads and Dimensionals
Verve Visual has a May Project Parade going on. I LOVED the colours and you can see them in the photo below. I used the Fancy Florals Remixed but couldn't figure out what sentiment to add or where, so it'll be on the inside ;)
Stamps: Fancy Florals Remixed; Cardstock: PTI white, So Saffron, Old Olive, Cool Caribbean, Regal Rose, Cool Caribbean; Inks: same; Accessories: 5/8" Old Olive Ribbon, Dimensionals
Here is the colour chart in case you want to play along.
A couple of months ago I wanted to create a book for me to keep all the sketches I find on blogs, challenges or magazines in one spot. Well this is what I did....and then it got shoved in a pile and I'd forgotten all about it until today!
Thanks for stopping by today!

Sketch Challenge Cards

Good Wednesday Morning!
First of all, I'd like to thank you all for the kind comments on my new picture :)
I always look forward to Wednesdays and the SCS sketch. Think it's my favourite challenge there!
I kept both of my cards fairly flat today so I can mail them off. I love to send out RAKS and have spent quite a bit of time the past two days doing some up. With that being said, if you would like a RAK from me and you know I don't have your address...please email me....I'd love to send one out to you :)
Stamps: Sidekick Sayings; Cardstock: Real Red, WW and Real Red Prints Paper from Hostess Pack; Inks: Real Red and Always Artichoke; Accessories: Three for You punch
I'm LOVING this WeRMemoryKeepers DP called White Out Collection. I have a few different ones. Some browns, some brights, some pastels....love 'em! I knew they'd be fun to use with Shari from the Glam Girls by CC Designs. You can get her at All That Scraps.
Stamps: Shari from Glam Girls; Cardstock: Cool Caribbean, WW and White Out Collection DP by WeRMemoryKeepers; Inks: Adirondack Black, Temp. Turq; Accessories:Copic Markers, Small and Lg Oval Punches, Turq Grosgrain, Clear Stardust Pen, Dimensionals

Colour Challenge Card and a Sketch

Happy Tuesday!
I've got a lot going on this week. Thought it was going to be fairly slow but nope...not going to happen...lol
I made this card today for the Colour Challenge on SCS. You were to use Blue Bayou, Soft Sky and Certainly Celery. This layout was one I had jotted down on a sheet of paper but I don't know where it came from. If it's yours, please let me know so I can give credit ;)
I had not inked up this Hostess Stamp set until today...not sure why because this little pea is sweet!
Stamps: Event Full; Cardstock: Blue Bayou, Soft Sky, Certainly Celery, WW and Celery Prints Paper; Inks: Adirondack Black; Accessories: Copic Markers, Nesties, Celery Brads, 5/8" Celery Ribbon, dimensionals
Yesterday Lauren had posted a sketch on her blog and some colours as well. I knew I wanted to use this new stamp I had got on Saturday and the colours she listed didn't seem to work for some reason. This isn't my typical style, not that I have one, but I really like the look. Thanks Lauren for getting me to step out of my comfy box...lol

Stamps: Stampendous and Riveting; Cardstock: Kraft, Choc Chip, Celery, WW; Inks: Celery and Choc Chip; Accessories: 5/8" Celery Ribbon, White Organdy Ribbon, Nesties, Dimensionals

Thanks for stopping by today!

A bunch of good stuff....

Good Monday Afternoon!
It's Victoria Day here in Canada so the family is all home today. We've each been doing our own things and I've gotten so much done! Love when that happens!
Today on SCS is the Try A New Technique Challenge. Now this is one I've done before for a teacher who was expecting a baby. I made a bag like this below with some little cards to go inside.
I hadn't used the Summer Picnic DP(well at least not this pattern) lately and thought this was a perfect time to pull it out. I thought about putting some little chocolates inside the bag but then Brian may have been upset if I gave them away....lol....so I went with 2 small 4x4 cards. Pretty simple and straightforward.
Stamps: Tart & Tangy, Much Appreciated; Cardstock: Real Red, Whisper White and Summer Picnic DP; Accessories: Circle Punch, Circle Nesties, Dimensionals, Slit Punch, Red Grosgrain Ribbon, Crop A Dile
Yesterday I worked on a Father's Day card using the Jack Handyman from CC Designs at All That Scraps. I also used the Happy Thoughts from Verve Visual for the sentiment. I bought these screw brads at a LSS last month and had forgotten about them :(

Stamps: CC Designs, Verve Visual: Cardstock: Brocade Blue, Choc Chip, WW and White Out DP; Inks: Adirondack Black, Choc chip, Brocade Blue; Accessories: Copic Markers, Screw Brads, 5/8" Brocade Blue Ribbon

I've admired Michelle Wooderson for sometime now and how she can mass produce such wonderful cards. Well these cards below are inspired by her!!! I've totally CASED her idea. I did change the Designer Paper, Stamps and CS colours. The basic idea is hers though. Last night I stamped a bunch of cupcakes and sat down to colour them while watching Desperate Housewives...lol This morning I put it all together.

Stamps: Hero Arts Cupcakes; Cardstock: PTI White, Bashful Blue, Real Red, 3BugsInARug DP; Inks: Adirondack Black; Accessories: Copic Markers, Clear Stardust Pun, White Brads, Circle and Rectangle Nesties, Dimensionals

Thanks for stopping by today!

It's been very productive but I still have more time and more stuff to stamp!

Featured Stamper and a Challenge Card

Happy Sunday!
The day started off kind of gloomy and changed to rain but I can see blue sky peaking its way through the clouds now. Brian has been craving donairs for a couple of days so we are heading out in a few minutes to get one for lunch...lol
Christine from All That Scraps challenged the Design Team to make a Pink and Brown card, with a little white for the stamped imaged ;)
I decided to use the monkey from It's My Birthday. I've been practicing colouring with my Copics and think I did a pretty good job with the shadow on the balloon.
Stamps: It's My Birthday by CC Designs; Cardstock: Choc Chip, Pretty in Pink, WW and Pretty in Pink prints paper; Inks: Adirondack Espresso, Pretty in Pink; Accessories: Copic Markers, Clear Stardust Pen, Choc and Pretty in Pink Grosgrain, Dimensionals
Sundays are a fun day on SCS. It's Featured Stamper day and it's always a blast to cruise through someones gallery and find a card or two to CASE. This week it's Dawn aka Dawnsing on SCS. The card I chose to CASE is HERE.
Dawn has a fabulous gallery and I like her clean style. I'll definitely be CASING a few others very soon!

Stamps: Full of Life; Cardstock: Pumpkin Pie, Old Olive, WW and Summer Picnic DP; Inks: Pumpkin, Olive, Rose Red; Accessories: Heidi Swapp Ghost Flower, Flower Fusions, Crystal Brad, Pumpkin Striped Ribbon, Dimensionals
